Mexican Drug War

Part 1
How has a bad economy and the drug war affected and terrorized Mexican citizens?

In Mexico, there is a large problem dealing with the drug war. This has affected Mexico, and so much more including the citizens. Because of the economy being so negative, citizens are struggling on a daily basis just to make it through. The drug war has brought many shootings to be in effect. This has threaten the security of people within school, jobs and family. The Government has made a large impact by providing protection through law enforcement, but there is much more to be accomplished and taken care of. Several citizens have started protests as a sign that they want their country to be changed. Something serious needs to be done to stop this, and to protect the citizens and country for the future.

Part 2
My favorite part in The Road is on page 28. The second paragraph on this page is very descriptive and detailed about everything that is occurring. At the bottom of the paragraph, I especially like, “ Ever is a long time. But the boy knew what he knew. That ever is no time at all.” This section is meaningful to me and caught my eye for some reason.
