  2. I never knew that this monument has not been completed. It is crazy to think how long it may take but I think that it is well worth the wait because "red man has great heros too."

  8. I had heard of this monument through history courses, but I guess I never new much about it past the name. So, your presentation did a good job in filling me in on what I missed. I found it so interesting that he refused to have government financial help to build it. Nice photo representations, ladies!

  10. I enjoyed your presentation very much. I thought it was interesting and I learned many things I did not know. It is great that the Native Americans have a sculpture and I hope it will be finished someday. I like how it is non profit and they spent many hours and well earned money for this project. Good Job!

  15. Very good job giving us a visual of this monument, the timeline of the pictures was very neat to look at. It is awesome that he did not accept any money from the government to build this! Or should i say start this monument. It will be very cool when it is finished. Hopefully i will be able to see it.

  16. I had never heard of this monument but after seeing the slow and dangerous work it takes to build it, I am inspired. I couldn't believe it took that long to build, and with no grants or anything. The timeline pictures were very interesting and I hope I get to see this when it is completed.

  17. I found this presentation to be very interesting and informative. This is one landmark that I have never seen, and feel that it is grossly overlooked. While the peace was started by a known individual, and is a part of American and Indian history it appears to receive very few accolades. The presentation at points did appear hard to hear at points, and a little rushed. I did feel that the information that was provided was very on point and informative. I did find the extended construction period of time to be very interesting, and enjoyed the slide with the transformation of the piece.

  18. This was very interesting and I enjoyed learning about something that was not as popular as other landmarks in America. The history of how everything had started with creating this is awesome, because it shows inspiration and the American dream.
