  1. Ifrah and Ikran,

You did a great job with a wonderfull leader. Martin Luther King is an inspiration to us all so I applaud you for doing your presentation on him:) there is so many things about him that you could have addresses but i think you did a nice job with the topics you choose. The " I have a dream" speech is still instilled in our youth today and is a big part of the american dream so great job presenting:)

  5. I found the presentation to be very interesting and informative, as this a symbolic and devoted display to a man of great stature. I felt that both the presenters were well spoken, and they covered content with devoted knowledge. The “I have a dream” concept still in today’s environment appears a needed concept. While it has moved drastically forward, and diversity is more accepted, there is still a presence of hate. The statue is a large and defining symbol that America which is “The Melting Pot”, will not stand for hate and segregation of its people. I feel that you chose a valuable and historic format, which can even be carried through current issues.

  6. I thought you guys did a good job as well, but agree with Ayan; I feel it would have been great if you had tied some facts about Martin Luther King Jr. into the presentation as well.

  7. Ikran and Ifrah, you guys did a very good job! I liked the way the presentation was given on the slides and the paper you handed out. It helped set some facts before you even started, and gave us something to go home with except for just mental listening. I had no idea that there were so many monuments for Martin Luther King!

  8. Often times when it comes to American heroes of the past, Martin Luther King J.r is one everyone knows, but we often loose sight of their real accomplishments. I was thrilled to hear about this new statue and you guys did a great job at giving a background for its creation. Good job.

  9. I liked that you guys used a handout, so far you two were the only ones to do so. Also, I had never heard of this monument, maybe I live under a rock, but thanks for introducing it to me! I found it interesting that it was put up in 2011, that seems like it should have been sooner, but at least it is up!
