I had mix feeling going back to my high school to meet with my teacher; it was May 8, Tuesday. As I walk through hallways, memories of the high school days drag me into the past. Those memories were both delightful delirious and there was some disappointments too. I walked toward room 204 to meet my teacher.
My name is Dagmar T. Wolcott. Actually, there was nothing much I regret. I will point out however I will regret that I wish I would have made more mistakes. I wish I was never afraid of mistakes, making mistakes and learning from each will would have really made me more mature and intelligent truly beyond my age. This is exactly what I tell my students. Makes mistakes I encourage them to, but never make two same mistakes twice. That will show you have never learned from it at the first time you have made. I really have learned more from my mistakes and every success I have accomplished, the cornerstone of it was by the mistakes made early and learning from it was what propels me to success.

Life naturally is full of struggle. I had family struggle which I was part of it and the family struggle really shaped my personality. I had personal struggle which set off quest for adventure and journey I have gone with to find myself and grow skills and understanding on how to deal with world problem as well as personal and family struggle. I also had struggle that comes with gender, as female I had my own struggle tackling on personal desire, what to become after college or If I will go to college after high school.
Life was very interesting for me when I was young. I have done almost everything young energetic teenager girl would have done, but with mastery and artistic ways. My childhood life and experience was filled with fun.

My parents were major influence in my life. But there were movie-stars, musicians and many people including friends who really influenced me into something that I have done, which in the hindsight, I find it to be silly but very educational experience for me. My teachers, in the middle school and high school as well as college professor really influenced me positively well.
Power to the people, I think that is the best things about American dream and changes. Every change is something Americans spark and individual citizen stir those changes. That is beauty of America. When I was in Younger, in high school or College, yes I have experienced some mysterious experiences that I am at lots of words. But I do think those things have made me stronger.

Coach

I had the pleasure of interviewing a very inspiring man for my Holding On paper. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing Larry's coaching stories and philosophy's that he had attained over the years. What meant a lot to me in doing this interview is that I had the opportunity to learn some things from a man that was a part of such a great generation and can continue to pass on the things that I have learned.

What I learned about writing and reporting is that it can be a challenge. giving a good interview and copying down the transcripts can be a lot of work and very time consuming. Finding the best way to present the information from the interview can be very challenging as well.

My Writing At It's Best

My theory is this, when you have a great athlete you tend to get lazy, because he does things so easy and so well that you get a false reading of how good of a coach you are. For instance if you and I were coaching against each other and you have a great athlete and I have a great athlete, we will probably nullify each other a little bit, but if my average kids are better than your average kids then I’ll probably beat you eight out of ten times. What happens with coaches is that they get an ego. They say “I want to coach Michael Jordan.” Yeah it would be great to coach Michael Jordan, but let’s coach ol’ Joe Blue that can’t walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. Now can you bring Joe Blue to a level where he is competing over his head and if you do, then you start having good teams. These are the kind of things that helped define me as a coach, that when I went into the weight room, I worked as hard with the kid that wasn’t going to be first team next year, as I did with the all-state kid. Sometimes you got to push your stars harder than the other kids because they tend to get lazy and tend to think that they’re pretty good. To keep those guys grounded, you have got to drive them harder, but I drove the other kids hard too. I didn’t want them to think that they were not as important as some of my better players. I think that your greatest thrill as a coach is seeing what you think is right transferred into a young man, or woman and they catch fire and take it to a new level.

My Interview with Betty Remlinger

The thing that meant the most to me about this interview would of had to been how Betty came up from a small town in Kentucky and ended up being a teacher. I learned that EVERY LITTLE DETAIL could be the most important detail in your whole paper. Those details can be the best explanation of the person your interviewing, what I mean by this is this may be able to describe exactly who the person is to a T with little comments or actions.
My profile is the best in the middle where she talks about my sister, this shows how she is very accepting and loving of other people. I would like to share that part I would have to say.

I chose to do my essay about a man I see almost every day where I work.He is someone I see, but never really knew anything about.  What meant the most to me in the assignment was being able to know more about a person I see every time I go to work. Before this assignment, he was just another one of the old farmers drinking coffee in the lounge every morning, but now I know there is a lot more to him. I found that in reporting, it takes a lot of listening and quick thinking. Also, that it can be very hard to be genuine while expecting them to be also. It was hard to know how to respond to his questions and emotions. Finally, I found that it takes a great deal of time to type the transcript and organize all of the thoughts.

I went to college because I was tired of workin’ [laughs]. Actually, I went for a degree in Agriculture. It was about four years after high school. I couldn’t see any reason to learn some of that stuff like the humanities courses. I couldn’t learn it- it just wouldn’t stick. My girlfriend, now wife, and I went to the library to study one time. We sat and studied for over two hours. I would read something and look at it and say “What did I just read? Damned if I know! Let’s try it again.” I went about it with the idea that I wanted to learn that stuff. I didn’t just want a degree; I wanted to actually learn it. The big thing college does is open up doors that were not there before.  And, it molds you more for that job, which will generally help you earn more money. My life was different, and would be totally different if I hadn’t gone to college.
